About Events
Our events are intended to empower parents and teach the necessary skills to go home and begin an effective and ongoing conversation with their child about the dangers of drugs & alcohol. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the importance of these conversations, and equipped with actionable prevention strategies and critical knowledge pertaining to adolescent drug & alcohol use.

All in-person events include an educational prevention handbook for every family that attends the event. Events that last longer than 3 hours in duration or include multiple presentations may incur an additional $300 fee per presentation. There may be a surcharge for events that are over 45 minutes away from our headquarters in St. Peters, MO.
We charge $3000 plus hotel accommodations for out-of-state presentations that require an overnight stay. If you are unable to afford this fee, please let us know and we can work on a solution with you. We want all communities to have access to our program. Local businesses are often eager to sponsor the event as well.
Hidden in Plain View
Hidden in Plain View is a traveling bedroom exhibit that we set up on-site for parents to search & explore. The exhibit contains over 70 items that could signal involvement in risky activities including alcohol and drug use. Parents learn how to recognize these warning signs and get prevention tips for talking with their kids about the dangers of substance use. Hidden in Plain View can be a standalone service (Parent Teacher Conferences, etc.), or in conjunction with our standard 45-minute presentation (recommended). Help educate more parents by bringing this exhibit to your kids’ school.

Are you providing in-person events during the COVID-19 pandemic?
We are providing in-person events again, however we have recreated our educational program (both the presentation and Hidden in Plain View exhibit) and now offer a virtual option that has been incredibly successful. Our virtual program includes access to our Don’t Wait film, a detailed film discussion guide, the opportunity to search our Hidden in Plain View virtual bedroom and a live panel discussion. Who is your typical audience?
Audiences range from parents to educators and everyone in-between. We recommend only adults attend our events due to some of the content addressed.
Where are the presentations generally done?
We are quite flexible on where presentations are held. Whether it’s a school, a church, or community building, we can make it work. The full bedroom exhibit requires a bit more space to accommodate large groups.
How long does it take to set up the ‘Hidden in Plain View’ exhibit?
We will arrive an hour before the event to set up. Any extra hands that you can provide for unloading and loading the bedroom items are always very much appreciated.
